The SCCANZ Skin Conference 2010 will feature an outstanding faculty of international and domestic experts including Prof Ash Marghoob (New York, USA), Prof Harold Rabinovitz, Margaret Oliviero (Florida, USA), Prof Scott Menzies (Sydney), Prof John Kelly (Melbourne) and Dr Jonathon Stretch (Sydney) and be be conducuted over the 3 days of the Anzac Day long week-end, 24th - 26th April.
Conference highlights include: Diagnosis and management of sun-damaged "digger's" skin, the latest in skin cancer and melanoma research, advanced melanoma and NMSC, extra-cutaneous melanoma, surgical workshops - both basic and advanced, skin cancer Nurse Practitioner workshops (full day), the latest technologies in skin cancer diagnosis and management, digital imaging and Total Body Photography workshops, general dermatology essentials, cosmetic basics and introductory dermoscopy training workshops.
International Dermoscopy Masterclass will run from Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th April and be conducted by Ash Marghoob, Harold Rabinovitz, Margaret Oliviero, Scott Menzies and Richard Williamson.
A substantially reduced accommodation rate of $185.00 per night has been arranged with the Sheraton Mirage Hotel for these events. ANZAC Day will obviously be respected and transport from the Sheraton Mirage will be organised for the Dawn Service. A General Meeting of the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand will be held on Saturday 24th April. A large trade display will feature a wide array of the major skin cancer related products and services.
All profits from the 2010 Conference and International Dermoscopy Masterclass will be retained by the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand for future use with future education events and research.
